NUREMBERG - From 9 - 11 December 2025, the PROMISE consortium convened for its first in-person meeting, hosted by the project team at Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen–Nuremberg (FAU).
Team members from all five partner universities met to advance collective planning and strengthen the project’s collaborative foundations. Over the three days, the team:
- Reviewed the project timeline and coordination plans
- Discussed initial outputs from WP1 (Scoping Review) and WP2 (Qualitative Exploration)
- Refined shared methodologies and research logistics
- Exchanged ideas on maximizing impact, engagement, and interdisciplinary integration
- Continued building a shared vision for the project’s scientific and societal contributions
The meeting provided an opportunity to deepen connections across teams and to reaffirm PROMISE’s commitment to generating research that is both rigorous and socially meaningful. Special attention was given to strategies for ensuring that the project’s methods, outputs, and policy recommendations remain grounded in youth perspectives, European diversity, and cross-sector collaboration.
The consortium will be followed up with regular meetings—online and in person—throughout the project, ensuring ongoing alignment as PROMISE moves toward generating evidence-based insights and actionable policy recommendations for healthier digital spaces.
